Who Pays for It? Aberdeenshire Council
How is it delivered? Staff from voluntary sector go into schools to provide information and advice to young people to pupils about housing options and issues around homelessness.
Who is Targeted? Pupils in S3-S6
What Resources Are Used? SCSH’s Streets Ahead Guide in school libraries. A local directory of services was created in 2005 that can be used stand alone or inserted into the Streets Ahead Guide.
Lesson Plans based on SCSH I’m Offski! have been used as the basis for some lessons.
How long has work in this (or other) form being going on? approx 3 years.
How is the work monitored / evaluated? Students complete an evaluation form at the end of each session. This information is collated on a quarterly basis and reported back to the funders.
