It
can be really hard to
move away from your family,
especially if you do not
have their support. The
most important thing is
to try and get help from
someone and not to make
all the decisions on your
own.
If you don't feel ready
to leave home but have
no option, you should
think about supported
accommodation.
If
you
feel
you
want
to
run
away
remember
that
this
might
be
really
stressful
and
unsafe
for
you.

Harassment
means you feel unsafe
in your neighbourhood
or home. This can be because
of anything from insults
to bricks through your
window.
If you are in a council
or housing association
house go and see your
housing officer. They
should help stop the problems.
You should also report
any incidents to the police.
If you are in a private
rented flat you can seek
help from the organisations
listed above.
Your landlord cannot force
entry into your flat,
or threaten you. If they
do, they are breaking
the law.
You have a right to live
peacefully in your house
or neighbourhood without
harassment. However, if
the harassment doesn't stop,
think about moving to somewhere
you will feel safe.
If you live in a council
or housing association house
ask them about getting a
transfer. This can take
time but may happen quicker
if you explain you feel
really unsafe.
If you rent from a private
landlord explain the problem
to them and ask if they
can end your lease early.
