Remember
the following things...
- Never
just walk out. You will
end up with rent arrears,
your name will be noted
on the Council's housing
list as "having
former arrears"
and it will be much
harder to rent again.
- Give
your landlord as much
notice as possible if
you want to end your
lease early.
- When
you go you should leave
the place in the same
condition you got it
in to get your full
deposit back.

Your
tenancy should contain the
procedure your landlord
has to follow to evict you.
You cannot be forced out
unless your landlord has
issued the correct legal
notices and obtained a Court
Order.
Whether the Court will grant
an eviction depends on the
type of tenancy agreement
and what has happened.
