Homing In Conference 2009
SYHN - helping frontline workers and agencies keep up-to-date on practice and policy in youth housing
Practical Participation
Friday 18th September
Wishart Centre
50 Constable Street, Dundee
Who is it for?
All people working with -and for- young people and who want to get to grips with a range of activities and opinions surrounding participation and involvement.
Why should I go?
Apart from learning about best practice when involving young people, the day offers an opportunity for useful networking, structured discussion and a chance to re-energise & re-focus your ideas.
How will the day run?
Each presentation will be followed by an opportunity for questions then a structured discussion session in break-out rooms throughout the Wishart Centre. Each discussion session will focus on an aspect of practice related to the previous presentation. It won’t all be just talk either - some sessions will require putting words into action. Added to which, there are plenty of opportunities for coffee breaks and further networking.
How much does it cost?
£80 for SYHN members
£135 for non-members
